How To Boil The Perfect Egg

Boiled eggs in a bowl decorated with parsley leaves

1. Put the eggs in a saucepan of room temperature water.

2. Bring water to a rolling boil. Place eggs in boiling water.  Boiling time will determine the type of consistency of your yolks. Here are a few boil times:

        • For very firm hard-boiled eggs, boil for 15 minutes
        • For creamy hard-boiled eggs, boil for 10 minutes
        • For custard-like soft-boiled eggs, boil for 6 minutes
        • For slightly runny soft-boiled eggs, boil for 4 minutes

3. Place the eggs in a bowl of ice water. Leave them to cool for 1 minute

4. Peel and eat! Add to your favorite salad or top off your avocado toast! Enjoy!

Our guests have always been where we focus our hearts. As we all start to emerge, we are excited to see you, host you and provide a sanctuary that allows for relaxing and creating unforgettable memories, as we always have.

We are pleased to announce that Tbd…Restaurant is now open for dine-in service. There are some things that will be new and different but the essence of the restaurant and our staff remain the same. We are a unique dining experience unlike any other in Hawaii, and have integrated new health and safety protocols into our day-to-day routines to ensure your special experience remains.

Of course, reopening our restaurant is not something we take lightly. We have closely studied the guidelines from leading restaurant organizations and governmental and health authorities and have developed a Covid-19 policy that sets forth our new standards for the comfort of our guests and colleagues. From physical distancing guidelines to strict cleaning practices — all have been created with adherence to those guidelines and many times go above and beyond what is required..

We have also partnered with the Doctors of Waikiki who consult with our team members on a regular basis as part of our effort to ensure we are aligned with the most up to date recommendations of health care professionals.

We are ready when you are and we look forward to seeing you soon.

With Aloha,
